Dancing as Volvo ballerinas in the Ithaca Festival parade was so, so much fun! The Ithaca festival is an annual event which occurs during the summer, and each year the festival opens with the parade. Since Volvo's are the dominant car of Ithaca they always have a spot in the parade and a Volvo car is raffled off during the Ithaca festival. We wore crazy tutu's (so did the Volvo's!) and danced around and on top of the cars! We even made it in the Ithaca post!

The 33rd annual Ithaca Festival Parade was blessed with partly cloudy skies and fully freaky performers. A Post Photo Gallery.

It was such a cool experience and we were honored to be a part Ithaca's annual summer event! I was sad to leave Ithaca, but, luckily I bought a touristy "Ithaca is Gorges" tee shirt so I could always remember it. We hopped back on our bikes and set our for Syracuse.

Now, we are in Syracuse staying at Alexis' friends apartment and it is very rainy and wet outside. I am currently typing from Syracuse University's library computer. When it stops raining, we plane on beautifying our bikes. Layla and Alexis bought neon pick and silver spray paint. Our bikes are gonna look AWESOME! Syracuse is a cool city and it is so cool to be biking all over NY. Tomorrow we head for Utica, then from Utica, Albany! I am very excited to see the capital of NY and continue performing. Our next performance is approaching. We had a rehearsal yesterday. I am still feeling sore, but luckily today we get to rest. I am hoping to encounter less road kill on the way to Utica. It smells so bad.

Oh, how could I forget?! Layla was the first to fall off her bike. While on our way from Tex's camper in Montezuma to Syracuse Layla fell off Priscilla. Here she is! The first to lick the tire baby!
